Plastic Planet works to raise awareness to the various environmental and biological tolls of plastic when discarded without care. Plastic pollution doesn’t just hurt marine species. It’s also harmful to people. As plastic debris floats in the seawater, it absorbs dangerous pollutants that are highly toxic and have a wide rage of chronic effects to both wildlife and humans. By exposing to the people these negative effects, our goal of encouraging a large sum of the population to discard their plastics properly will create a better and much healthier earth to live in.
